Hi readers, I'm Lizzi, with no e's or y's. This is my first post so please be so kind as to visit after this if you like the first!
Recently my dad arranged plane tickets so I could go visit mt aunt in Kiowa, Colorado, on her farm, Abra Cadabra Alpacas, and for any interested in checking it out here's the site: http://www.abra-cadabraalpacas.com/
She raises, breeds, shows, and sells both alpacas and llamas as well as makes her own products out of alpaca fiber and sells it. She has fiber classes too for anyone wondering.
I'm scheduled to head out on the first of August and come back two weeks later, hopefully after spending much time getting to know my dad's sister. I haven't had many chances to hang out with my Aunt Tawny, as she has lived in Colorado for as long as I can remember. I'm very excited however, as she is extremely talented (As she spins and knitts her llama fiber, and is a very skilled artist) and I hope I can learn a lot from her! While there, I'm going to be helping with the daily house chores, taking care of the animals, and perhaps even help her out in naming some of her new and adorable baby alpacas as she told me she's run out of name ideas and has taken to calling three baby boys "The Banditos" as their dad's name is Bandit.
Sorry for the short post, because as I said, this is my first time blogging. Also be sure to check out my aunt's site!

*UPDATE: Since my vacation's done and over, with an extra week added on thanks to me sucking up to my parents ;3 I'll be posting on my vacation with pictures soon. The first sets'll be cell phone pics since my sister broke the xD card plug-in for my camera so it'll take me a bit to get the pictures from my Olympus photography cam (I knew I should've taken my mini-digi!)
